Be My Mistake

The 1975 posted a while back asking for video submissions for an upcoming project. One of the options was to “send a video demonstrating your passions/creative outlets,” so I decided to write some notes to their song “Be My Mistake.” I think this short piece serves as an emotional interpretation of the song, at least in a personal sense, and ultimately I’m really happy with how it turned out. It’s very mellow and smooth for the most part, featuring some challenging rhythmic changes and uncommon tuplets.
